Rome and Florence are beautiful, but my favorite Italian city is Venice, a city that has changed little in the last 400 years. Venice is an outdoor museum. The streets are canals and transportation is simple: you walk, buy a boat pass or take a water taxi, The nearby islands of Murano and Burano are alive with color and history. Venice is truly a photographer’s paradise.
